How Tapa Boosted Business with Restaurant WiFi – Stampede SUCCESS STORY

Greig Davidson, owner of Tapa, a restaurant specializing in the highest quality tapas & Spanish gins, has found a way to bring that holiday feeling to Edinburgh.
Importing the ingredients directly from mainland Spain, Greig and his team aim to offer the best and highest quality service as well as innovative, slightly different and more unusual tapas.
How it all started – Bumpy road & customers feedback
Greig opened the business eight years ago and, looking back, it was quite a bumpy road. Opening a business during a recession might not have been the best start you could hope for, but Greig managed to make his way by listening to what his customers were saying. 
“We learn from any positive or negative review. If people have things to say, we listen and we adapt,” explains Greig. “Part of our success over the years has been our ability to adapt to what people expect.”
And if there’s one thing that customers expect today, it’s free restaurant WiFi, especially in a highly rated establishment that delivers top notch food and service.
Tapa faced problems with their WiFi when the business first opened: thick walls that caused black spots in WiFi reception, complicated network setups and, of course, password difficulties. Greig adds, “It ended up in customers leaving and tainting their experience within the restaurant.”
